Classical Comics
Classical literature in comic form, but wait there’s more! Text is written ways–original and unabridged, plain text (modernized version of the original), and quick text (simplified dialog). There’s also a version without text, so that students can come up with their own translations. Check out the free versions available for download!

- Kindle for iPhone
Amazon’s application for the iPhone gives users access to its Kindle store of electronic books without the need to purchase a Kindle or Kindle 2 electronic book reader. The e-books are formatted to the iPhone’s smaller display, and pages can be “turned” with a finger flick to the left or right. - TED
TED app for iPod touch/iPhone allows users to listen to audio and video published from TED. Search, bookmark, and share features

Google Spreadsheets offers a dynamic chart/graph option now, and we hear rumors of a presentation module coming in the future.

- Dan Schmit, has a new edition of his KidCast: Podcasting in the Classroom book. You can order at FTC, but you have to request the 2nd edition. Email Dan and “encourage” him to finish his podcast ideas book–tell him the TechChicks sent you!
- Just read this article stating that more women are on online than men. Just a reminder about Women of Web 2.0 was started to give women a voice on the web (of course men are allowed to!). We know we’re out there so speak up and get involved!
- Another example of Web 2.0 and the power of collaborative voice–you can vote for who you think should be featured in Time magazine’s Top 100 list
