We’re back in Barnes & Noble and getting all kinds of stares. Maybe the microphone makes it a little obvious… The sound is getting better – at least Helen sounds good! Anna was still sick.

I listened to the podcast today on my way home from work and checked out the apps when I got home. Thank you for sharing. I paid it forward tonight on my social networks so I wouldn’t be a social network hoarder. Any chance you will be doing a back to school edition podcast?
Thanks from Maine!
Yay for not being a hoarder! And boo on us. Don’t tell anyone but we may have already recorded a couple of episodes and shhh… but none are specifically designated as back to school specials. But that’s a good idea. I’m going to work on content for a half episode and resources for new and returning teachers to start off the year. Please share any you think would be good on our contact form!

I found this site very interesting and useful. Set up really well, the Tech Chicks spoke about each link listed below the link for the podcast in their podcast. While I generally prefer to learn on my own by experimenting and figuring things out on my own, I found it helpful to have them give me a little description of the site as I was looking through it.
Since I started block 1 I am constantly amazed at how much technology there is that I didn’t even know about! Its overwhelming, but I have found a few sites and tools that I plan on using or am going to start using soon. For example the Google Calendar:
