I had a really long day today. One of those where I could not wait to run free!! I come home and am perked up by the new podcast on my iPod of the TechChicks!!
I may go work out now and listen to it!!
Great to see you both posting again and I look forward to hearing your new episode!!
Things just were not the same without new Tech Chick Tips. Welcome back, you were truly missed.
Thanks Joel and Kate–you guys made our day! We’re glad to be back :-)
Hi! So glad you guys are back on. I listen to your show as a podcast in the car on the way to work and come to work with new ideas! I get Educational Leadership, but never quite find time to read it, so I am glad for the pointer to the Rigor article.
Also, I think I am going to take you up on your election idea! Here is a site I might use:
http://demochoice.org/
There is also a great survey tool at
http://my-ecoach.com
This site has a ONE time $10 membership charge to use all of their tools. It is well worth it. It is designed for online coaching and so there are LOTS of tools and ways to connect and work with others online.
I think I am going to create a Wiki with a link to a survey which will be for all of the elementary schools in our district. Students can vote and put in some demographic information. It will be easy… and interesting!
Janice
@Janice Friesen: Thanks so much Janice! Fantastic ideas–we can’t wait to check out the sites you mentioned. If you decide to share your wiki, post the address here so that we can take a look. It would be great if others shared how they are going to do elections/voting on their campuses!
