TCEA…day 4
Another long day…we were involved with three presentations today–and as much fun as we’ve had, we’re very glad they’re over and looking forward to just learning tomorrow! We also did some random interviews today as part of our effort to podcast the conference. Anna is busily editing those responses and we hope to have them up as part of our next podcast. We had lots of fun walking up to perfect strangers and asking them about their TCEA experience! Stay tuned–we may be walking up to you tomorrow with our iPod set on RECORD!

TCEA Day… something
We’re DONE! Well, we’ve got one more half day, but we’re done presenting. I’m wiped. I actually got to *attend* a session today and it was really, really nice. Peter H. Reynolds, the author of The Dot and Ish gave a great talk about creativity and being bold. I’m going to write on it more later. I’m going to wait until I get a chance to talk to him at his booth tomorrow, because I recorded the session and I’m hoping I get permission to post the podcast. Keep your fingers crossed. I’m going back to the booth to buy his books and get them autographed for my daughter, and also to pick up my copy of Stationery Studio, which I *won*! Yay! I’m so excited to get back home with this and encourage Meghan to write and draw! Maybe her and Madelynn (about to turn 5) can work on a book together. But enough about me and my kids, I’m going to review the recording and take some notes and post more thoughts later. Helen and I think we’re actually going to get a podcast out tonight. Uh…. yeah. We’ll see!

TCEA…day 3
Good morning! We’re posting this morning because we were wiped last night! Yesterday was a busy day…we had our podcasting workshop in the morning, which only had partial attendance due to a printed date mix-up on the tickets. But we had a great time with the people who were at our workshop! Shout out to Kim who helped facilitate our session. She had great energy and great ideas–we’ll be getting in touch with her on some of the things her district is doing (btw Kim–no more lurking!)…
Then we went to the TECSIG luncheon where David Warlick was the guest speaker. He was great as usual, speaking on the topic of educating the millenials–we’ll be blogging about that more later. Then, we spent time working on our presentation that we’re doing today in the Apple booth! Woo-hoo! So here’s our agenda for the day–if you read this and want to meet up–we’ll be teaching in the Apple booth in the exhibit hall from 10:15-11:00. Then we’ll be in Rm 18A doing a presentation on the GradCast we do in the district to support military families. Then, we’ll be in Rm 18D from 2:45-4:15 doing a presentation on our district’s Film Festival. Whew! In between we’re going to try and hit some sessions and check out the exhibit hall. It’s almost like you wish you could clone yourself when you’re at this conference–there’s so much to see and do!!
Well, we’re getting ready to start the day–we’d love to hear what others are doing…post your comments or send us a link to your blog. Be sure to tag your entries with “tcea” or “tcea07″ so that they show up in Hitchhikr. Later!
