We’re at TCEA!

We’re finally in Austin! After driving down late tonight, Anna and I are safely in our hotel room. We have a corner room with a great view, and I have a pic to prove it, but unfortunately we have the slooooowwest wireless access in the world, and it’s taking way too long to upload pics. So you guys will have to take my word for it (for now)…I’ll try tomorrow from the convention center. Looking forward to seeing those of you who are here!
*addendum…Anna was able to load these from the convention center today…the first is the view from our hotel window–we’re right across the street from the convention center. The second is Anna’s bed–she brought a friend to spend some quality time with :-)

Feb 6, 2007 - 04:02:53Hi Anna and Helen,
I wish I could be at that conference too. FETC (Florida Educational Technology Conference) which was a few weeks ago, was incredible.
Can’t wait to read all about the sessions you are attending and good luck for the sessions you are presenting!
We’ll be there about suppertime! I’m hoping to make it on time for David Warlick’s presentation but that will be cutting it close. Hope to meet you down there. If you can get directions to Trudy’s you will get some great Mexica food! Best piano bar on 6th Street – Ivory Cats hands down. Great book store – Book People 603 N Lamar Blvd. Have a great time! Dee
Hi, Anna!
Hope to see you here at TCEA…we met at the Tech Forum in October. Have a great week!!
Dee and Heather, I hope we can meet up and visit for at least a little bit! We’ll be presenting on Wednesday from 8 – 11 and then we have the TECSIG Luncheon at 11:30. Then nothing until Podcast Palooza at 5:45. WHICH, by the way, is open to only the first 250 people. Ballroom G! BE THERE! It will be a BLAST!! Get their early if you want to get in! And then look for us. We’ll be one of the idiots making fools of ourselves with Dan Schmit!
Hi ladies!
It was great to see you at TCEA today. I’m sure your presentations were awesome. I wanted to pop in on one, but I was having a great time and learning lots! I got to buil my copmuter and network with some good people. Hopefully, we’ll get to do it again, next year. See you soon!
