TCEA…day 2
Well, it’s Tuesday night and we managed to survive our 6 hour iPhoto workshop today. We had a great group of teachers to work with, and we just want to thank everyone who was there. We want to especially thank “Julie Ann Patricia” for all her assistance, and to Dee Dee, our wonderful facilitator! The evaluations lead us to believe that there was much learning and that everyone had a great time, and we can’t ask for anything more!
We’re putting the final touches on our podcasting workshop that we are doing tomorrow morning. The wireless is not as bad tonight, but still very slow and uploads are next to impossible, so we’ll wait on that until tomorrow. 1 preso down and 4 to go!
We also had a great time tonight, catching up with some of our Apple friends at dinner, as well as Dan Schmit, our podcasting friend from Nebraska (of Kidcast fame)…we’re excited to be working with him this week and hearing all the new things that he’ll be bringing to the conference. Of special note, he’s the edutainment for Podcast Palooza tomorrow night. We can’t wait to hear him speak! We’ve heard that we might be playing a small part in his preso, so we’re eagerly awaiting that!
Well…time to turn in…we’re beat tonight and tomorrow promises to be a very full day, so we’ll keep you posted.

We’re at TCEA!
We’re finally in Austin! After driving down late tonight, Anna and I are safely in our hotel room. We have a corner room with a great view, and I have a pic to prove it, but unfortunately we have the slooooowwest wireless access in the world, and it’s taking way too long to upload pics. So you guys will have to take my word for it (for now)…I’ll try tomorrow from the convention center. Looking forward to seeing those of you who are here!
*addendum…Anna was able to load these from the convention center today…the first is the view from our hotel window–we’re right across the street from the convention center. The second is Anna’s bed–she brought a friend to spend some quality time with :-)
