Write, cast, shoot, edit, score, sleep. In that order. The first ever Insomnia Film Festival challenges you and your team to write, shoot, and edit a short film in just one day.
Apple – Education – Students – Insomnia Film Festival
Apple says you can turn 24 hours of insanity into 15 minutes of fame! The contest is open to all student videomakers and filmmakers in the
U.S. attending an accredited college or university, and are 18 years of
age or older at the time of entry. I’m so jealous that the techchicks don’t qualify!
Basically you have to register your team today (Nov 9th) and then watch the website for the required elements, which will be posted tomorrow (Nov 10th) at 5 PM EST. You then have 24 hours to create your video (3 minutes or less) and submit to Apple. The cool thing is there will be a judges prize and an audience choice prize. So even though we can’t enter, we’ll definitely be looking at the entries to pick our favorite!
Winning team members will each receive a copy of Final Cut Studio, a
copy of Shake, and an 80GB video iPod for their portable portfolio.
